What:
In March we'll be back at Jigsaw, and back to our usual routine of speakers on the first Wednesday of the month. We'll have a couple of speakers talking about putting accessible, low-cost innovations to use in humanitarian tech:
Robin Rosenberg: Making Landmine Detection Practical and Sexy
Robin Rosenberg from Red Lotus Technologies will tell a story of making landmine detection technology better: from design and UI to functionality.
Beth Kolko: low-cost medical devices to help improve healthcare in low resource settings
Beth Kolko from Shift Labs will update us on their project to make a low-cost, robust replacement for expensive and overengineered infusion pumps. You may remember Beth pitching for a fundraising campaign last year - the campaign succeeded, the product is being actively developed, and she will have just got back from field testing in India.
